Taylor Made Weightloss and Body Transformation

Nutritional Suggestions

Nutrition is a very important and essential part of life for all living creatures.  However, for some eating is a challenge on a daily basis.  The refrigerator seems to be calling their name and the temptation will become overwhelming.  If this sounds like you, you are not alone.  There are some strategies that can be implemented that can help control these cravings.

Don't Skip Meals
Too many people skip breakfast, lunch or even dinner in an attempt to lose weight.  However, this is defeating the goal in the long run.  In order to lose weight one must eat.  As a general rule, a person should eat 3 sensible meals and 2 snacks daily.

Avoid Failure
One strategy that works is to avoid buying foods that are unhealthy and placing them in the house.  Instead, keep some snacks and food that are healthy around.  This way when you are riffling through the cabinets and refrigerator, you will end up eating something healthy instead.  Please refer to the very generic suggested daily food guide for more details.

Limit Alcohol Consumption
Many people engage in social drinking and some are over zealous with it, but the truth is that alcoholic drinks contain a high number of sugars.  Not to mention that the body becomes dehydrated.  The goal is to increase water consumption during dieting since it allows the body to function more efficiently.

Place An Exercise Machine In Front Of The Television
Placing a piece of exercise equipment in front of the television helps keep you from just sitting and being inactive.  Instead, you can exercise while still watching your favorite show and burn unwanted calories at the same time.

Additional Information
Many people think it is impossible to eat out, but I am here to say, that it isn't as difficult as one might think.

Many restaurants have tailored their menus to offer healthier selections.  While these are great attempts by the restaurant industry they are far from perfect but they are a much better choice than other items on the menu.

Here are some quick suggestion when eating out.

  • Avoid The Condiments- These are high in fats and sugars usually and despite the fact that they seem harmless, they are misleading.  Yes that means avoid the butter, cocktail and tarter sauce and similar items.
  • Avoid Salad Dressings- Salad dressings are another culprit that can add unwanted calories to your meal very quickly.  Always opt for the Balsamic Vinegar.  It may take some time to get use to, but the benefits will be invaluable in reaching your goals.
  • Don't Be Afraid To Speak Up- Many people are afraid to ask for modifications to their meals because they think it may be an inconvenience for the waiter/waitress or cooks.  The truth is that they are use to requests more than you think.  So next time don't hesitate to tell them how you want it made.
